What drives cost for a plumbing supplier
The plan that fits depends on how much ground the marketing has to cover. For a plumbing supplier, five factors matter most:
- Doors. A supplier with only a counter needs less than one running a counter, a project desk and a showroom. Each door has its own buyer, message and measures. See the services overview.
- Branches and territories. Each branch needs an accurate listing and, often, its own drive-time campaign.
- Catalogue depth. Building catalogue content for five categories is a different job from building it for twenty.
- Provinces and languages. Selling into Quebec means French versions; Nunavut means Inuktut. Each province also needs its own seasonal timing. See areas we serve.
- Website condition. If your current site can't support product pages or branch information, a rebuild may come first. Elite includes 50% off website packages, and Enterprise includes a free build.
How to choose
These are typical fits, not rules:
- Growth suits a single- or two-branch supply house focused on one door, usually counter account growth, with a modest catalogue.
- Elite suits a multi-branch wholesaler working on two doors at once, for example account growth plus catalogue content, or a supplier that also needs a better website.
- Enterprise suits a regional or multi-province distributor, or a manufacturer with a large catalogue, several languages and project desk work.
If you're unsure, start smaller. Month-to-month terms mean you can move up when the first results justify it.
A budget sanity check
Before you pick a plan, test it against one number: the gross profit from an active plumbing account. Say an average active account buys $2,500 a month at a 23% margin, or $575 a month in gross profit. On the Growth plan at $1,999 a month, you would need roughly 3.5 accounts' worth of added monthly gross profit to cover the fee. That could be three or four new active accounts, or a share-of-wallet lift across a dozen existing ones.
Add your ad spend to the fee when you do this. Then compare the result with your current cost of winning an account through reps alone. The share-of-wallet guide walks through the full calculation.
What isn't included
So there are no surprises, a few costs sit outside the plan fee:
- Media spend on search and social platforms, paid directly to the platform.
- Printing of counter material or showroom selection sheets, if you want physical copies.
- Translation review by your own French- or Inuktut-speaking staff, where needed.
- Third-party tools you choose to keep, such as call tracking, which we'll list in the plan.
What you always get
- A written plan with targets and definitions before work starts
- Monthly reporting on the measures we agreed, not just traffic
- Full ownership of your website, ad accounts, listings and content
- A free first consultation, and no lock-in
To talk through which plan fits, call, text or email. You'll speak to a senior strategist, and you can read more about how we work first.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a contract?
No long contract. Give us 30 days' notice and the plan ends; choosing annual billing simply buys a lower monthly rate.
Is the ad spend included?
No. Media spend on search or social platforms is paid separately, directly to the platform, so you can see exactly what goes to ads and what goes to our work.
Do you charge per branch?
Not on a fixed per-branch basis. More branches, provinces, languages and catalogue categories mean more work, which affects which plan fits. We explain that before you choose.
Is the first conversation free?
Yes. The first 30-minute consultation is free for eligible businesses and separate from any paid plan.
