Plumbing.Trade exists because plumbing suppliers are badly served by most marketing. General B2B agencies don't understand counters, trade accounts and showroom handoffs, while contractor marketing agencies chase homeowners. We sit between the two: B2B marketing built for businesses whose customers are plumbers.
The company
Plumbing.Trade is a Canadian B2B marketing and business consulting service for the plumbing supply chain. Our clients are wholesalers, supply houses, decorative showrooms, master distributors, manufacturers and agency reps who sell to plumbing contractors.
We belong to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. On the Sedighi.ca side sit Ali Sedighi's consulting brands for growth, marketing and technology: HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Trades.Agency, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca. On the SAZ.ca side, the Strategy & Acceleration Zone works on strategy, AI and revenue acceleration for Canadian companies, with Ali as Founder & Managing Partner.
Within the group, Plumbing.Trade belongs to the Trades.Agency family, which serves trades and home-service businesses. For a wider view of supplier marketing across every trade, our sister site TradeAgency.ca covers electrical, HVAC and other supply chains too.
What we are not
We are not a plumbing contractor. No one from our side ever installs, repairs or services plumbing, or turns up on a job site with tools. We are also not a distributor: we don't stock, sell or broker plumbing products.
That double "not" matters. Your plumbing customers need to trust that your marketing partner isn't building a rival trade business, and you need to trust that we aren't selling to your accounts. We market and advise. That's all.
Ali Sedighi, MBA
Ali Sedighi leads Plumbing.Trade. His MBA in Technology Management sits on top of more than 17 years of hands-on digital marketing, which began in 2007 when he started ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency.
Since then he has:
- built 150+ live HVAC websites, including CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca, BoilerPart.ca and HeatLand
- founded Conv.ca, a conversion-rate optimisation agency, and MyAutomation.ca
- founded SAZ.ca, where he is Founder & Managing Partner
- worked with clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai
He lives and works in Vancouver. His longer biographies live on sedighi.ca and hvac.agency if you want the full background.
Why an HVAC background helps a plumbing supplier
Much of Ali's published work is in heating, and heating overlaps heavily with plumbing supply: water heaters, boilers, hydronic parts, venting and the seasonal swings that drive them. BoilerPart.ca, a parts site with 2,000+ programmatic pages, is the nearest thing in our portfolio to a plumbing supplier's catalogue.
We are careful about the limits of that. Our case studies are results from our HVAC work, not plumbing supply results, and the results page explains exactly what transfers.
How we work
- We start with your numbers. Gross profit by counter, project desk and showroom; share of wallet with top accounts; quotes won and lost. Marketing is planned against those, not against traffic.
- We learn from your counter. The people who serve plumbers every morning know which questions, parts and frustrations matter. We interview them before we write anything.
- We work in plain language. Every plan explains what we'll do, what it costs, how we'll measure it and when to expect movement.
- You own everything. Your website, ad accounts, listings, content and data belong to you.
- We respect the rules. Consent-based messaging under Canada's anti-spam law, honest pricing in ads, and no claims we can't back up.
- No lock-in. Thirty days' notice ends any plan. Annual billing is there if you want the lower rate.
Positioning, in one paragraph
Plumbing.Trade is a digital marketing and business consulting service for plumbing suppliers in Canada. We are not a contractor or a distributor, and we don't install, repair, service or sell anything. We help the businesses that supply plumbers win more accounts, more of each account's spend, and more of the work that starts in their showrooms and project desks.
To see what that looks like in practice, read the services overview, check pricing, or call, text or email.
